Our 6-week Canine Good Citizen (CGC) class is designed for dogs over 6 months with basic obedience experience. This course focuses on building your dog’s confidence, strengthening obedience, and reinforcing polite behavior in real-world settings—all essential components of the official AKC CGC test, which is administered during the final class.

Through structured exercises and positive reinforcement, you and your dog will practice skills like calm greetings, walking politely on leash, staying focused around distractions, and being handled by strangers. This class is ideal for anyone looking to elevate their dog’s manners at home and in public, and it lays a solid foundation for therapy work or advanced training goals.
